Work item history

Open any work item and choose Safety Net history in the side panel. It lists recent changes with who made them and the values before and after.

If you can edit the work item, you can choose Restore “Before” to put one field back, or Restore to bring back a deleted comment or work log. These actions run with your own Jira permissions.

The text of a deleted comment or work log is shown only to its author and to the project’s administrators; comments that were restricted (to a role, a group or as a JSM internal note) only to their author. Links to work items you can’t see don’t show their key.

Jira and project administrators can choose Erase to remove a recorded change from Safety Net — for example a deleted comment that contained a password.
